I tried all kinds of workarounds, like stitching tracks so the cuts disappear and applying the effect after all the cutting has been done, but none worked.
#Camtasia not working plus
This Camtasia behaviour leads to the sometimes annoying limitation that I cannot do any editing in the material from the moment of a mouse click plus 1.25s. This does also happen if I insert the ring effect after having done all cuttng work.
